The Great American River Run is an annual race held on Saturday of Memorial Day Weekend in downtown Memphis. The 2025 run will be on May 24th and courses through downtown Memphis and along the Mississippi River.

With a half marathon, 10K, or 5K, there's a run for everyone!

Everyone who crosses the finish line will receive a beautiful medal, race shirt and an invitation to our famous post-run after-party with plenty of tasty food … and beer!

Now in its 10th year, GARR attracts over 2,000 runners from 40 states and several foreign countries.
