Join the Cooper-Young Community Association, our neighbors, and friends for the annual Cooper-Young Festival Friday 4-Miler. Set the night before the Cooper-Young Festival, our 4-mile race takes you through our historic, eclectic neighborhood where you'll encounter lovely homes, friendly neighbors, maybe even an errant shot of Fireball! At the finish line you'll join the block party where you'll eat pizza, drink Memphis Made beer, and enjoy the sweet sounds of the Lucky 7 Brass Band. You don't want to miss this one-of-a-kind event which is a truly Memphis experience.

Memphis Thunder Racing Kids Triathlon
The Memphis Thunder Racing Kids Triathlon is an inspiring event for youth triathletes. One of Cory’s dreams was to offer a kids triathlon and we have successfully been promoting the sport of triathlon and keeping his spirit alive through the Thunder Kids Tri since 2005.
2024 marks the 19th annual race that brings together youth, families, and the community in an amazing spectacle of the sport of triathlon. The smiles on the kids faces as they cross the finish line are priceless!

Runway 5K
Memphis Shelby County Airport Authority (MSCAA) is excited to host its inaugural MEM Runway 5K on September 20.
Participants will have a chance to run on one of MEM’s runways and get a close-up view of aircraft landing and taking off. The uniqueness of this event allows runners to experience the airport grounds, and rare views of an airport that served nearly 5 million passengers in 2024 and ranks among one of the busiest cargo airports in world.

Run of Champions
Run of Champions is North Mississippi’s premier race experience, promoting wellness, community, and local pride. Set against the iconic backdrop of the University of Mississippi campus, runners enjoy a true “athlete experience” — complete with medals, race shirts, and a lively post-race Grove Partyfeaturing music, vendors, and local flavor. More than just a run, it’s a celebration of Oxford and a vital fundraiser for the North Mississippi Exchange Family Center, supporting prevention, education, and family services across the region.




Kosten Foundation Kick It 5K
The Kosten Foundation’s Kick It 5K, presented by Baptist Memorial Health Care, is an in-person run or walk with all proceeds going towards funding pancreatic cancer research. The 15th annual race is also welcoming virtual runners so supporters can participate no matter where they are. Over the years, the race has grown to include more than 2,500 participants with last year’s race raising more than $150,000.
In just 20 years, the Kosten Foundation has raised and donated more than $2.4 million to pancreatic cancer research programs. The Foundation hosts a free monthly virtual support group meeting for pancreatic cancer patients, survivors, and anyone else affected by the disease. Join us for the 3rd annual Share the Love 5k in memory of Collins Leach on November 9, 2025! This is a family-friendly event including a 5k, a family walk, games, a bounce house, and the 901 Goats!
This event is a time to gather and remember our loved ones. Hosted at the Kemmons Wilson Family Center for Good Grief and Dorothy’s Cottage, participants will get to see where healing grief work happens for our community. The route will be around this pastoral setting and along the Green Belt.
All proceeds will benefit Camp Good Grief, allowing us to continue our mission of providing safe environments for grieving children, teens and adults to explore and express their feelings after the death of a loved one and learn to thrive in a world without that special person.

The 6th Annual Reindeer Run 5k and Kids Dash is a family friendly event that aims to raise money for Sweet Cheeks Diaper Ministry and raise awareness for the issue of poverty and diaper need in Shelby County and surrounding areas. Sweet Cheeks Diaper Ministry is the only independently ran basic needs bank in the Mid-South recognized by The National Diaper Bank and partners with local social service agencies to provide diapers to low-income families while raising awareness of the basic health need for diapers. This year we are celebrating distributing over 1 MILLION diapers to families in need.

Viking Half Marathon & 5K
Located in the heart of the fabled Mississippi Delta, the Viking Half Marathon and 5K promises Southern charm, fast times, and an unbelievable race experience. From the time you arrive in Greenwood, you can expect great local culture, an array of fabulous food, and warm Southern hospitality.
The races will begin and end in the historic Cotton Row district of Greenwood and will take you through the flat, tree-lined streets of Greenwood. Racers and spectators will love the beautiful oaks and homes lining Grand Boulevard, once named ”One of America’s 10 Most Beautiful Streets” by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and the Garden Clubs of America.
The race course also passes by many of the site locations used in the filming of the blockbuster movie The Help, which was filmed in Greenwood in 2010. Big Buffalo 50
The Cancer Kickers Big Buffalo 50 is the largest annual fundraiser for the Cancer Kickers Soccer Club. CKSC is a local 501c3 founded in 2016 by Michelle and Chris Clothier. The organization is committed to providing comfort, community, and connections to children around the world who are battling cancer. To date, the Cancer Kickers Soccer Club has provided over 2,500 kits to deserving children.
We would love to have the help of the Memphis running community! At registration, you will have the opportunity to make a donation to the Cancer Kickers Soccer Club. Every single dollar donated goes directly to the organization. It costs $300 to provide one child with a kit. That means that each relay team that registers is supporting a child battling cancer! Additionally, every four 50k runners and every three 50 mile runners that register are also supporting a child. We would be so grateful to have your financial support. Every dollar counts, no matter how large or small your gift! Together, we can make a significant impact on the lives of these brave kids!

Regional One Health ONE Mile Championship
The fourth annual event will take place on Saturday, January 11, 2025 at the Regional One Health main campus in the Medical District.
This one-mile run/walk is an excellent way for the greater Memphis community to come together to support the Regional One Health Foundation. Family Fun Run sponsored by UPS Stores of Memphis is a great opportunity for all abilities to participate by walking, jogging, or bringing the stroller. Your participation helps Regional One Health better serve patients throughout the region.
This year the ONE Mile Championship is the official kickoff of the Campbell Clinic Collection. Runners can begin their "Path to a Half" with this one-mile road race. You will find more information about and registration for the Collection below.
