Crisis Assistance Ministry will be our 2026 race beneficiary. Crisis Assistance Ministry serves as a vital lifeline for Mecklenburg County families in financial crisis, providing the essential support and advocacy they need to regain self-sufficiency.

Since the inception of the Strides for Shelter 5K in 2016, the Canopy Housing Foundation has returned more than $242,000 from the race proceeds to several worthy local beneficiaries who are all working to address the needs of the homeless.

Registration Includes:

• Race t-shirt and chip timing

• Swag bag, post-race food/drink, and children's activities will be available.
